The Peachtree Road Farmers Market is every Saturday morning from 8:30-12:00! There are so many stands there you won't ever want to miss it.
So there is a King of Pops stand that has popsicle flavors like Chocolate Sea Salt, Grapefruit Hibiscus, Strawberry Lime, and more. There is an all natural cookie stand with Chocolate Chip, Spicy Ginger, Chocolate Chocolate Chip cookies. There's a Pure Bliss stand that has bars, granola, and nuts. They also sell at Whole Foods. One of the most popular stands is H&F Bread co. They have the best breakfast muffins and basically anything out of bread. The owner and founder is Chef Linton Hopkins. He is on the page Foodie Videos cooking with Coca-Cola. He is also the father of the kid next to me, Linton Hopkins Jr, in the background picture behind the words Diary of A Veggie Kid on the home page. There is also the Low Strong Band at the farmers market. The Hopes Garden Pesto stand just created a new flavor of pesto. They sell Basil Pesto, Jalapeno Pesto, and Sun-dried Tomato Pesto. Now their selling Mint Pesto! It has no dairy and is available at Whole Foods. Finally the Crepe stand.
The Crepe Masters stand is one of the best. They have two menus, a Dessert Crepes menu and a Breakfast Crepes menu. Two crepes on the dessert menu are the Cloud 9 for $6, made with sliced strawberries, bananas and chocolate, and the Sinful Strawberry for $5, made with sliced strawberries, powdered sugar, and brown sugar. The Goats Florentine is a very popular crepe for $7 on the Breakfast Crepes menu is made with scrabbled eggs, mushrooms, onions sautéed in balsamic vinegar, toped with local goat cheese and spinach. My favorite crepe that I get all the time is the Veggie on the Breakfast Crepes menu. It's made with red peppers, mushrooms, onions sautéed in pesto sauce, spinach, tomato, and mozzarella. I get it for $7 with no mushrooms and mozzarella. That's all for this week. Remember every Saturday from 8:30 to 12:00.
David Jeffries Kitchen has some of the best biscotti I have ever had. They have so many different flavors and there are also gluten free macaroons. I got the German Chocolate Macaroons and they were so good I ate them all in like two hours. I also got the White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Biscotti, which is awesome. They sell at the farmers market and Whole Foods.
